Probate is the legal process used to distribute a person’s property after their death. When someone passes away, a probate proceeding will likely need to be opened for assembling and sorting out a decedent’s assets, such as; taxes, debts and expenses. This will also include the distributing of assets to heirs and beneficiaries.
We will determine if it is necessary to probate the estate. If probate is needed, we will prepare the court documents and help the Personal Representative (Executor) with the Probate Process.
Our attorneys can arrange for the probate of the will. If there is no will, we can assist in qualifying the appropriate person to assume responsibility for administering the estate. We will navigate our clients through the probate process.
